Ashley Bass has over 5 years of experience designing STEAM & CS programs, creating community engagement outreach strategies, & leading teams for Nonprofit Organizations, Higher Education institutions and Corporations in Detroit, MI and in New York City.
Ashley is passionate about supporting and developing educational city-wide programs for youth & adult learners within under served communities. Her mission is to work in the areas of Education, and Workforce Development within urban public sectors: to help lead, develop and maintain programs and initiatives for social good. Ashley believes that by providing exciting learning opportunities and exposure to careers; in turn, further propels and encourages exploration-via the creation of a pipeline initiatives driven by Access, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion- which are the four pillars of what drives her work.
Ashley also aims to incorporate volunteerism activities in her work by tapping into Employee Resource Groups in efforts to foster mentor ship activation with employers and communities.
